Light Works is an immersive environment with lights, video and sounds, creating spaces that are entered for multiple experiences.

Spanning over 40 years of Huren Marsh’s ideas, products, concepts and design choices, the installation will be an ongoing workshop of progress and experimentation.

Huren Marsh is Hive’s longest affiliated artist having joined at its inception in 2019 after a career as a practicing interior designer and interior architecture lecturer for over thirty years. His current practice includes: curator, designer/maker, photographer, and installation artist. Huren also had a prior career in the field of electronics engineering which was a continuation of his childhood hobby as a teenager growing up in Jamaica.

Light Works represent his lifelong fascination with practical experimenting and the unexpected outcomes that it can generate. The exhibition takes the form of a retrospective that blends over forty commercial and personal career design projects within a daily evolving live lab environment. Expect the unexpected.
