Final Days of ‘It’s Love, I Think’
The pink café will soon be saying goodbye. It’s Love, I Think, the immersive neon installation by artist Eve De Haan, has transformed Broadworks Café into a vibrant, joy-filled space of colour, music, and connection, and it will be coming to an end on 19 December.
Boasting a saturated world of pink and glowing neon, the installation explores themes of nostalgia, wellbeing, and togetherness. Vintage arcade games, a record player, and De Haan’s signature neon artworks invite visitors into a playful, uplifting environment designed as a retreat from the city’s everyday greys. Through art, sound, and taste, including the much-loved Pink Chai Latte, the café becomes a multisensory celebration of creativity and connection.
Take something home from It’s Love, I Think
As the installation draws to a close, this is your final chance to purchase works from It’s Love, I Think. This festive season offers a meaningful opportunity to take something home while supporting a good cause — 10% of all profits go to Choose Love.
A curated selection of original artworks by Eve De Haan, alongside smaller gifts such as prints, T-shirts, and postcards, is available to purchase; perfect as thoughtful festive presents or keepsakes from the installation.
Eve De Haan’s portfolio is replete with neon artworks, each sharing a different story, thought or catchphrase through short snippets of text. It’s an approach that developed out of her theology degree, where she realised encapsulating narratives through the written word was the best way to evoke collective emotions in an audience. Neon has allowed her to explore “how malleable definitions of words and phrases can be.”
